Loose Leaf Talent Agency is hosting auditions for Vermont’s Premier Black Crowe’s Tribute Band: “Sting Me”
Drummer
A key part of the Crowes sound, the driving force requires a strong sense of rhythm and timing, with an ability to play a range of styles from heavy blues and rock to quiet ballads.
Roles to Fill
Guitarist
Proficient in playing complex solos, slide and rhythm guitar parts, with a strong understanding of the Black Crowes' signature sound. Ability to improvise, and willingness to share rhythm and lead duties with other guitarists.
Back-Up Vocalists
Strong vocal abilities that complement the lead singer's voice. Harmony singing experience preferred.
Keyboardist
Experienced in playing keyboards with a flair for the bluesy and soulful style that characterizes the genre. Looking for a player who can both lay down a solid foundation and take solo breaks as well.
Horns Section (Saxophonist, Trumpeter, Trombonist)
An ability to play in rock context and without charts ( or able to create your own charts ). Experience with improvisation and ensemble playing is essential.
Expectations for participation
Experience
We are experienced musicians with years of gigging experience and are looking for similar levels of experience and proficiency.
Committment
Must be willing and able to attend rehearsals, learn the material and be available for shows. Flexibility in scheduling is a plus.
Personality
Team-oriented, enthusiastic about performing, and comfortable with stage presence. A genuine love of the music and desire to form a band and community to faithfully recreate the sound and vibe and put on a great show. We want this to be fun and successful, lets make a joyful noise.
